Shockwaves for impaired wound healing
Shockwave therapy is successfully used today in the treatment of chronic wounds and ulcers. But treating chronic wounds is a multidisciplinary challenge which involves plastic surgeons, dermatologists, internal specialists and other physicians working together to determine optimal therapy. Because our practice does not include each of these specialties we are unable to offer ESWT for impaired wound healing at our office.
